Erik Davila

Erik Davila is a Managing Partner at Modern Woodmen of America, which is a fraternal financial organization. He works in the San Antonio branch working with our members who have been taken care of by Modern Woodmen for 5 generations, since 1883. He works with individuals, families and small business owners to clarify their goals and risk tolerance to customize and implement their comprehensive financial plans.
As a former Interact member at the Business Careers/Holmes High School campus, the best piece of advice I received was: “Make sure every moment we are around another, be sure to leave them better off than when you meet them”. I have taken this to heart in my personal professional life.”
Erik has worked at Modern Woodmen of America for more than 5 years. In addition to his Series 7, Series 66, and Life, Disability, and Long-Term license, he has earned a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) from Fraternal Field Managers Association. A native of San Antonio, Erik is a graduate of American University, in Washington, D.C., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Erik has actively participated in the local community over the years by volunteering with Southside ISD Education Foundation as board member and as executive board member in The Rotary Club of San Antonio South. Erik has a young teenage daughter and supportive wife. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends hiking, biking, and traveling.

I am a San Antonio native and graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. I attended University of Las Vegas in Nevada focusing on Hospitality Management. While in Las Vegas, I began my career in the Hospitality Industry with Harrah's Entertainment. I have over 20 years of marketing experience in the areas of sales, advertising and relationship marketing in the hospitality, gaming and printing services industry. I am a passionate networker and target connections with small to medium size businesses to partner as their marketing consultant. I focus on production of marketing collateral, assisting in branding, social media initiatives and marketing campaigns to drive trail and brand awareness. As a Latina, I look for opportunities to assist small local Hispanic business owners with their marketing initiatives.  I love to give back to my community and as a 9-year Rotarian it has allowed me to provide "Service Above Self" in both my professional and personal life.  I have been married to Brandon Hobbs for 22 years and am a proud mother of two, I focus on balance within my professional and personal life. I enjoy gardening, spending time with family at the ocean, lake, river or poolside. I am a part of the Smokin' Cowboys Smoking team where we not only compete in cook-offs but are a service-oriented cooking team that participates in fundraisers, benefits and giving back to our community.

Raquel Alvarado

Service and education are very important to me. My service as a Rotarian and to my sorority, Chi Eta Phi, allow me to contribute to both. My primary education at Providence High School prepared me for higher education at San Antonio College, University of the Incarnate Word, University of Texas at Arlington and Chatham University, all with a concentration in nursing. I am a registered nurse and hold my doctorate in Nursing Practice.
Currently I am a professor at UT Health School of Nursing and am board certified as a Nurse Executive.
I proudly served my country for four years as an officer in the Army Nurse Corps reserves.
On a personal level, my greatest achievements are my children. I enjoy reading, working in my garden and playing with my dogs and grandchildren.
