The Rotary Club of San Antonio South, joined by the East Central Interact Club, participated in Wreaths Across America by selling and placing wreaths at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, continuing a tradition of more than four years. Their efforts helped honor veterans in an older section of the cemetery, where only about 28.6% of the more than 144,000 graves were covered this year.
This initiative underscores the power of community partnerships and student advocacy in driving meaningful change. The Rotary Club of San Antonio South and Salado PTA hope this project will inspire further efforts to improve school facilities and promote sustainable practices.
