It was a powerful night as we honored our scholarship recipients, gave out a Paul Harris Award and inducted two new members.

In a powerful evening of celebration and inspiration, the Rotary Club honored two exceptional young women, Joceyln Garcia and Amy Martinez, with scholarships. Both Joceyln and Amy have been actively involved in the East Central Interact Club, the high school branch of Rotary, and both exemplify the spirit of service and leadership. We are proud to support them as they take bold steps toward bright futures.

Special thanks to Lisa Chandler for her outstanding mentorship and dedication to nurturing future leaders in our community.

Also, with a scholarship going to The College of Healthcare Professionals.  For us it is a privilege to con get to tribute to the great work they are doing in our community to educate the next generation of Healthcare Professionals.

The evening also featured an inspiring address from former scholarship recipient Caleb Ramirez, also an East Central graduate, whose journey continues to motivate and uplift those around him.

We were also thrilled to recognize our own Randy Bullis with the prestigious Paul Harris Award for his invaluable contributions to the club. Congratulations, Randy! Thank you to Craig Hardy, the incoming governor for Rotary District 5840 - South Central Texas, for presenting the honors and supporting the event.

The night's keynote speaker, Caroline Haring from Palo Alto College, delivered a powerful message that left a lasting impact. Thank you, Caroline, for your passion and commitment to education and community empowerment.

To top it all off, we welcomed two new members into our Rotary family: James Cox and Alex DeLeon. Welcome aboard!

It was a night packed with purpose, pride, and promise, and this is just the beginning. The Rotary Club of San Antonio South is on the move, and the Southside of San Antonio is leading the way. Join us as we continue to make a difference, one service project and one success story at a time.
